Worship At St Mark's Church Mitcham

St Mark’s is a diverse and welcoming Church of England church, in the diocese of Southwark.

Our vision at St Mark’s is to be ‘Serving Christ’s mission in Mitcham,’ by:

Listening to our Father God in the Scriptures

Caring for one another, in the power of the Spirit

Sharing the love of Jesus in word and deed with the people of Mitcham, and so

Growing as an all-age, inter-cultural, joyful community of faith, hope and love

We have a committed team made up of staff and volunteers who help make everything happen here at St Mark’s. Our leadership team work hard to bring out the best in our people to use their unique God-given gifts, and to see our vision become a reality in Mitcham.

Partnerships

St Mark’s has recently been supported in staffing and in finance by Holy Trinity Clapham (HTC) – and their Curate Ed, with a small group from HTC, moved to join St Mark’s in September 2024. HTC’s Rector Jago Wynne is also the Priest-in-charge at St Mark’s.

We’re grateful too for the support of Revitalise Trust and London City Mission.

St Mark’s has for many years supported other churches and charities, including:

Norwood and Brixton Foodbank,

St Anne’s Support and Care Centre, Stillfontein, South Africa.
