Find out all about what's on for kids at St Mark's!
We long to see children in Mitcham encounter Jesus, know God’s love and be his Light in the world. In Sunday Club sessions we sing, play games, do craft activities, read bible stories, enjoy some drinks and snacks – and have a whole lot of fun!
If you or you child have never been before to St Mark’s, if you’ve been a thousand times, we would love to welcome you any Sunday!
Sundays
10am – Every Sunday, during the main service, the kids and youth head out to their groups.
Except the last Sunday of the month, we have an All-Age Service at 10:15am
FAQs
A two-tier group for 3-11 year olds, separated into Key Stages 1 and 2, both in the main church hall.
Children start off with their families/ carer for the first 10 minutes of the Morning Service – and then head into our hall for their groups. Towards the end of the Service, the children and leaders come back in for the last few minutes.
We let families know about the content we’re looking at during a feedback slot in the service each Sunday. But every week we want to teach about the love of Jesus from the Bible in a fun way!
Your kids are more than welcome to stay and be a part of the gathering, but if your child is unsettled or you want some space for them, you can come with them into the creche in the main hall.
Our fantastic St Mark’s Kids Team! All of our staff and volunteers have been through our safer recruitment process, safeguarding training and have Enhanced DBS checks, and keep within the adult-children ratios set by the Church of England – so they’re in safe hands.
We want to make everyone feel welcome, to please let us know if your child needs a little support, and we can make sure they have a meaningful time.
We have other special events throughout the year, such as Pancake Parties, bring-and-share lunches, Fireworks Nights, Holiday Clubs, Christmas parties and more!
