The countdown to Christmas has begun! We are so excited to celebrate and share that the birth of Jesus is all about Joy to the World – and to Mitcham!

We’re hosting a range of festive services and get-togethers throughout December, featuring mince pies and hot drinks – and we’d love for you to join us!

SUNDAY 14TH DECEMBER

10AM

Come dressed in your favourite festive or Nativity costume and join us for a family-friendly service, with carols and interactive drama bringing the story of the first Christmas to life!

SUNDAY 21ST DECEMBER

5PM

Step into the wonder of Christmas with readings and carols surrounded by the soft glow of candlelight. A timeless and beautiful tradition, followed by mulled wine and mince pies.

WEDNESDAY 24TH DECEMBER

4PM

A special service for all ages, featuring the joyful moment of lighting Christingle oranges together. Christingle is a traditional Christmas celebration using a decorated orange, candle, ribbon and sweets to tell the story of Jesus’ light coming into the world.

WEDNESDAY 24TH DECEMBER

11.30PM

This quiet and reflective communion service is a long-held tradition at the close of Christmas Eve. In the stillness of midnight, we gather to take bread and wine, and anticipate the dawning of joy on Christmas morning.

THURSDAY 25TH DECEMBER

10AM

Celebrate Christmas Day with us at this joyful, all-age service as we gather to worship, sing, and rejoice in the true meaning of Christmas - the birth of Jesus! A wonderful way to begin the day’s festivities, perfect for family, friends and visitors.

WEDNESDAY 31ST DECEMBER

11.30PM

Usher in the New Year with prayer, praise, and worship, as we give thanks for the year past and entrust the year ahead to God.

We partner with the charity Love Christmas, to create Bags of Joy full of little gifts and surprises, which are given out to children in our community.
